"Venom" is Dark and Wickedly Funny

Marvel's latest film, "Venom", is dark and wickedly funny. It's based on the comic of the same name. It stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, San Francisco's well-loved investigative journalist. When an interview with a powerful and rich scientist shatters his career and destroys his relationship, he investigates the mysterious happenings at the scientist's lab only to leave with more than he bargained for.

The film takes us on a wild ride through San Fran with plenty of wise-cracks and darkly humorous moments from the alien Symbiote known as Venom.

In supporting roles, Michelle Williams plays Eddie Brock's ex-girlfriend and at the end of the film Woody Harrelson appears at the end as another super villain by the name of Carnage.

Overall, I thought the film was entertaining.
