Bumblebee, the latest Transformers movie from Producer Michael Bay and Director Travis Knight is worth seeing on the big screen.
I felt that the story was moving, had good comedic elements, and came with a decent cast.
The main character, Charlie, played by Hailee Steinfeld, was endearing and relatable. I also loved the 80's soundtrack with music from Tears for Fears, The Smiths, and more.
Bumblebee is about a bright yellow Autobot named Bumblebee that escapes from his home planet, Cybertron, where he is a resistance fighter in an on-going inter-planetary war.
Hailee Steinfeld plays a teenager named Charlie who struggles to find meaning to life after losing her father. She soon finds joy again with her new-found friend Bumblebee, a VW Beetle that magically transforms into an Autobot in her garage. John Cena plays a military commander who sends a military expedition out to capture and take down Bumblebee. Jorge David Lendeborg Jr. plays Memo, Charlie's friend who gets caught in her adventure.
I recommend this movie and give it a B.
