"Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark"

The new horror flick of the summer is here with André Øvredal directing. It's based on the children's book that many of us grew up on, "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark." The great Guillermo del Toro produced this film which features a terrifying scarecrow and some intimidating monsters that are the stuff of nightmares.

I found the interweaving stories to be entertaining and the cinematography and music was incredible. Some of the acting and the writing wasn't the best, and carried a B film feel to it, but overall, the film was scary at all the right places and I recommend seeing it!
