The Addams Family is back! This new animated film stars the voices of some very talented folks including: Oscar Isaac, Chloë Grace Moretz, Fin Wolfhard, Charlize Theron and Bette Midler, to name a few.
The story is about the Addams family looking for a new place to call home and getting kicked out of every country they go to. They finally find their home sweet home in an abandoned asylum on a hill in modern day New Jersey.
The jokes were hit or miss. Some of the jokes were cute and funny, others were derivative and uninteresting.
I loved the piano-playing Lurch who has a surprising falsetto voice. I thought Wednesday was a great character and her adoption of a creepy tree as a family friend was pretty cute.
Overall, it's a fun popcorn movie for the whole family.
